Information Signs

Information signs are blue, rectangular, and — for most of them — purely there to help, not instruct. A bus stop sign doesn’t require you to do anything; it just tells you where one is. Two signs in this category are the exception worth knowing well: one gives you an active heads-up about oncoming traffic priority, the other tells you what speed keeps you moving with a synchronised set of traffic lights.

Public transport stops

Where buses and minibuses are allowed to stop — useful for drivers to recognise, since passengers may be embarking or alighting.

Dead ends

Simple line diagrams showing which direction the dead end lies.

Active traffic advisories

The two signs in this category worth studying as carefully as a warning sign.

Facilities

Where to find something — parking, transfers, tourist information.

Two signs here behave more like warnings than plain information: Priority Over Oncoming Traffic tells you that you have right of way on a narrowed section — meaning oncoming traffic must yield to you — and Traffic Signal Ahead at 55 km/h tells you the specific speed that keeps you moving through a sequence of synchronised green lights. Both are worth knowing exactly, not just recognising by colour.
